Retired from his law practice since 2004, J. Michael Jerry currently serves as counsel for the firm. He handles mediations and arbitrations and acts as an advisor on family law matters. As an appointed supplemental court commissioner, Mike also officiates marriages.
Mike began his career as the Assistant District Attorney of Brown County. He moved to private practice in 1972 and in 1977 he joined Bert Liebmann, Greg Conway, and Tom Olejniczak as the fourth founding member of Liebmann, Conway, Olejniczak & Jerry, S.C. Mike’s private practice concentrated in family law, including divorce and adoptions, estate planning, probate, and real estate.
A profession in law found me. The process included academic exposure to math, science and philosophy; international travel; and employment as a researcher and analyst for a component of state government. That breadth of experiences helps make me more effective in the areas of law in which I work. Since the late ‘70s, I have been blessed to be affiliated with a group of professionals who also bring a broad range of areas of expertise. Together, we impart our perspectives and strengths into the project, enhancing the benefit to the client.
